Welcome to the Port Orchard Police Department Online Reporting System. If this is an Emergency please call 911 immediately.
Using this online citizen police reporting system allows you to submit a report immediately to the Port Orchard Police Department.
The following conditions must be met to be eligible for online reporting.
Reporting Criteria
If you answer NO to all of the following questions, you may file your report online.
  • Is this an emergency? If so, dial 911.
  • Did the incident happen outside the Port Orchard Police Department's Jurisdiction?

  • Do you know the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in?
  • Did the incident occur on a state freeway, highway or route?
  • Did the incident involve firearms (used by a suspect or taken in a theft)?
  • Did the incident involve theft of a motor vehicle or licensed trailer?

If the answer is no to any of the above questions or it does not fall within one of the listed categories, please dial (360) 876-1700; for a Port Orchard Police Officer to be dispatched.
Upon completion of this process you will:
  • See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your report is complete.
  • Be given a police report reference number.

Burglary - Property List This type of report can be used to add/amend information to burglary reports that have been filed with an officer. Before beginning your report, be sure to have your Port Orchard Police Department Case Number available. NOTE: if you are replying to a specific request from the Reviewing Officer asking for additional information, please do not submit a Supplemental report. Instead, follow the directions you received via email which will allow you to easily log back into your initial report in order to enter the missing information. If you need to provide a property list for a burglary report that was taken, please use this form.
Cyberstalking The stalking or harassment of someone using social media, or other electronic means. This does not include telephone harassment. Someone sends unwanted messages to you through social media or other electronic means.
Graffiti The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property, by using spray paint or markers. Someone writes their name on a wall or window of property without the owner's consent, someone spray paints a picture or words on a wall that doesn't belong to them, someone draws a picture on someone else's vehicle using a permanent marker, etc.
Harassing Phone Calls Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing, or threatening nature. Immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc. with no known suspects.
Hit and Run Leaving the scene of an accident without providing required license, insurance, or vehicle information. Victim vehicle must be unattended or damage was to other property. Information report for insurance purposes. Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
Identity Theft Obtaining somone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods, or services. Someone obtains a credit card using your Social Security Number or obtains phone service using your personal information.
Information Only This form should be used if you were not issued a report number, but you spoke to a specific officer and would like to provide additional information to that officer. Note: If you wish to report suspicious activity, please call 911 to report the incident. You spoke to an officer about suspicious activities in your neighborhood and would like to provide more information about those activities, or an officer asked you to follow-up with them if you had any further information about a crime that you were not involved in.
Mail Theft Theft of US Mail from a mailbox or receptacle. Letters, bills, etc. stolen from a mailbox or receptacle. Note: if any of your personal information or checks were used after the mail theft, please include this in the narrative portion of your report.
Other - Misdemeanor Other misdemeanor incidents. Other misdemeanor incidents that do not involve domestic violence, assault, or protection order violations and are not currently in progress. ***NOTE*** To report domestic violence, assault, or protection order violations, please call 911.
Theft Property is taken without your permission. Property known to be stolen and missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft. If an item or items were taken from a residence this is considered a burglary and must be reported by calling 911.
Theft from Motor Vehicle Property is stolen from a motor vehicle. Stolen equipment or belongings from a vehicle.
Traffic Complaint Use this form to send our traffic unit information about speeders, reckless vehicle incidents, and other traffic related issues that are not in progress. Cars speed up and down your street at all hours.
Vandalism The act of changing, modifying, or defacing public or private property. Graffiti, knocking over mailboxes, throwing rocks through windows, etc.
Vandalism of a Vehicle Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. Keying, broken windows, or attempts to remove parts.

Type Cyberstalking
