Welcome to the Poulsbo Police Department Online Reporting System. If this is an Emergency please call 911 immediately.
Using this online citizen police reporting system allows you to submit a report immediately to the Poulsbo Police Department.
The following conditions must be met to be eligible for online reporting.
Reporting Criteria
If you answer NO to all of the following questions, you may file your report online.
  • Is this an emergency? If so, dial 911.
  • Did the incident happen outside the Poulsbo Police Department's Jurisdiction?
  • Please, verify your address is in Poulsbo Police Department's Jurisdiction Click Here
  • Do you know the suspect(s) or where to find the suspect(s) who committed the crime?
  • Do you know the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in?
  • Did the incident occur on a state freeway, highway or route?
  • Did the incident involve firearms (used by a suspect or taken in a theft)?
  • Did the incident involve theft of a motor vehicle or licensed trailer?

If you answered YES to any of the questions, please refer to our for more information on filing a report.

If you answered YES to all of the above questions and the crime falls within one of the listed categories, you are ready to file your report. If the answer is no to any of the above questions or it does not fall within one of the listed categories, please dial (360) 779-3113; for a Poulsbo Police Officer to be dispatched.
Upon completion of this process you will:
  • See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your report is complete.
  • Be given a police report reference number.

Hit and Run - Unattended An unknown person collided with your parked unoccupied car or property and did not attempt to locate you or leave a note. Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
Identity Theft/Fraud An unknown person uses your credit card number or other personal identifiers to gain services or merchandise without your consent. You found unauthorized charges on your credit card, or somebody is using your social security number.
Illegal Dumping The depositing of rubbish, waste matter, or garden refuse in any manner other than those authorized. Unknown, unauthorized persons throwing garbage into a business dumpster.
Information Only You have miscellaneous information you want the police to know and are not concerned about documenting the information in a report for others to know about it. Note: If you want to pass on a crime tip and do not want to file a documented report, please do not proceed. Instead, you can email such tips directly to crimetips@cityofpoulsbo.com You have information that your neighbor may be involved in criminal activity, and you are not concerned for your safety or the neighbor knowing you reported this to the police.
Lost Property When property is missing or lost. You left your laptop on the top of your car and drove to your destination. The laptop was lost along the way.
Mail or Package Theft Theft of mail from a mailbox or receptacle or package from a residence or business with a value of less than $750. Letters, bills, etc. stolen from a mailbox. Package stolen off porch. Note: if any of your personal information or checks were used after the mail theft, please include this in the narrative portion of your report.
Telephone Harassment An unknown person is calling you on the phone with the intent to harass, annoy or intimidate you. An unknown person calls you repeatedly, uses obscene language, or immediately hangs up.
Theft When property is taken without your permission that is valued at less than $750. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person. Property known to be stolen and missing. Lost property is not a theft.
Theft from Motor Vehicle When property is stolen from your vehicle and the value of the item plus any damage is valued at less than $750. Items such as clothes, books, backpack, garage door opener taken from inside your locked or unlocked vehicle.
Vandalism or Malicious Mischief An unknown person causes actual damage to your property in which the value of the damage is less than $750. If this is damage to a vehicle, please provide vehicle information. This does not include vehicle damage caused by another vehicle. Items such as clothes, books, backpack, garage door opener taken from inside your locked or unlocked vehicle.
Type Hit and Run - Unattended
Example Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
Type Identity Theft/Fraud
