Sierra Madre Police Department if this is an Emergency, please call 911. Note: Filing a false police report is a crime. Welcome to the City of Sierra Madre Police Department Online Reporting System. Using this system allows you to submit a police report via the internet. The report will be reviewed for content by police personnel and accepted as is, or you may be contacted if additional information is required. After submittal you may immediately print the information you submitted the initial information will be identified with a reference number. Once the report is reviewed and accepted, you will be issued an Sierra Madre Police Department case number via email within 5 business days. To use the system your report must meet the below criteria:

  • This incident is not an Emergency.
  • The incident occurred within the City of Sierra Madre.
  • You do not know the name or identity of the suspect involved or have physical evidence associated with the incident.
  • This did not occur on a State Freeway?

Annoying Phone Calls Unwanted calls of an annoying or harassing nature. Immediate hang ups, obscene language etc with no known suspects.
Auto Burglary Entry was made into your locked car or truck and property taken without your permission. Might include items taken such as stereo, clothes, compact discs, books and coins from your locked car.
Child Custody Violation When a parent violates the custody order.
Identity Theft Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services. Someone obtains a credit card using your S.S.N. or obtains phone service using your personal information.
Lost Property When property is missing or lost. (Does not include lost passports) Property that is missing, leaving items in restaurant.
Theft Your property is taken without your permission. Property known to be stolen or missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
Vandalism The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property. Graffiti, knocking over mail box, throwing rock through windows, keying a vehicle, etc.
Vehicle Tampering Tampering with the vehicle, vehicle parts or contents. Someone broke the antenna off a car, or rummaged thru the contents without stealing anything.
